Cuts 6 layers of 100% cotton (recommended), although it can cut 8 layers occasionally.
This pattern on the packaging is of a variable of the usual Le Moyne star, made by using small squares to give it variation. The second sample quilt on the website here is the usual Le Moyne, where you need to partially stitch the middle side triangles. I will include the pattern shortly.
