Strip Cutter - 2 1/2" and 6 1/2" Combo 

Cuts either 6 1/2" strips, or 2 1/2" strips... up to 110" long using 8 layers,  or both together!

Uses a 10" x 15" mat, we include the mat !

 

Cuts up a 110" length 

Cuts 6 layers of 100% cotton (recommended), although it can cut up to 8 layers occasionally. Especially with strip cutters as they have no stress on the blades.

To cut the size you require, place the fabric, fan-folded over the lines, avoiding going beyond the end of the blades.  Place the mat over the blades of the sizes you want to cut. There are markings etched on to the foam die top.  For example, if you want to cut a 6 1/2" strip as on the picture, fan-fold the fabric over the blades that are 6 1/2" apart.

If you wish only to cut a 2 1/2" strip, use those blades.  If you want to cut both at the same time...really saving a lot of time... fan-fold a long length of fabric approx 9 1/2"-10" wide, ensuring that all the fabric is flat and over the blades. Place the mat down and roll it through the cutter! 

The die needs a cutter that can use at least 10" wide dies. The gap is wider in most of them, so this will fit.
