Clamshells 8" finished across arch - 6663
This die requires a cutter with at least a 10" opening
The die uses a 10" x 10" cutting mat (2101) (Included). This is designed to make sewing large clamshells easy. Use scraps from your stash or fussy cut a favourite fabric, to construct a unique piece.
Put the clamshells for the first row, right sides together and sew, clip seams and turn right way out and press. Catch the base of each arch with a few stitches, so that you have a row of arches.
Sew the next of individual clamshells to the row above.
Continue until its finished!
These can also be hand sewn by using paper templates. Machine sew or even a mixture, you can make some interesting designs with this.
