These were requested hearts to make for premature babies, after the heart is held close to the mother's (or fathers) skin, the heart is then placed near the baby so it can smell the scent of its parent. This heart has very gentle angles so two layers can be sewn, then flipped.
This is just one of many of our own dies that enable the appliqué and handsewing enthusiast to spend more time creating, and less time cutting.
In some roller or press machines, with a non adjustable opening, an excellent shim can be achieved by using two of our mats underneath the die and one on top as it goes through the rollers, and then they can be used to replace older mats as they wear.
