Together with a 6" finished Half Square or Quarter Square finished die, die 6448 and 2" finished squares for the nine patch, one can make the classic block Nine Patch Star, or extend any block with 8½" finished sides...making a secondary pickledish star shape
In some cutters, such as Sizzix, an excellent shim can be achieved by using two of our mats underneath the die and one on top as it goes through the rollers, and then can be used to replace older mats as they wear.
