This die is ideal for using up all your tiny scraps or create a masterpiece.
This die is full of squares (18 of them). It was requested many times by people making pixel types or colourwash quilts. Cut the squares in preferred colours and lay them right side up on preprinted lightweight fusible or mark out your own so that there is a small clearance between the fabric square and the grid outline. then when you fold the lines of fabric over, you don't have so many bulky corners. Sew each line of your design, trim the seam allowance, iron the seams open and start the other direction. This method gives perfect corners and is a great way to use up scraps.
At last, an Australian made cutting die that can fit in most brands of Fabric Cutters. Cuts 6 layers of 100% cotton (recommended), although it can cut 8 layers occasionally.
In some cutters, such as Sizzix, an excellent shim can be achieved by using two of our mats underneath the die and one on top as it goes through the rollers, and then can be used to replace older mats as they wear.
Remember, you get one mat with each die!
